As vaccinations continue throughout the state of Colorado and things seem like they are slowly starting to get back to normal, it feels like we can start getting excited about the events we'll be able to attend this summer. Many events throughout Northern Colorado have already announced their plans, and the outlook looks bright for all of us being able to take in the live music and great food that the city offers.
The staff at Old Town Food Tour has had the chance to be part of many of the festivities each summer, and we've talked about the four events that should be on your bucket list for the season.

According to the Taste of Fort Collins website, they plan on hosting this year's event on Saturday, July 24, and Sunday, July 25, at Washington Park in Fort Collins. Previous artists at the event include Eddie Money, Everlast, Judah & The Lion, and many more! Plus, you can always expect great food throughout the length of the event as they highlight some of the best that Fort Collins has to offer. Check out this video from the last in-person event, which was held in June 2019.
2.) BOHEMIAN NIGHTS AT NEW WEST FEST
While there is no official word on if the event is happening during the 2021 summer, we would be remiss by not putting Bohemian Nights at New West Fest as part of your bucket list events. If it can't happen in 2021, you can bet that many of us throughout Fort Collins will be there in 2022. What's great about New West Fest is that they love to share the gift of live music to the community, and it shows. Plus you have a chance to see amazing Colorado artists that you may have never seen perform live before. We highly recommend checking the Bohemian Nights website and Facebook page for updates on 2021 and support their live music when the event returns.
New Belgium's Tour De Fat occurs every September and is a celebration of community through bicycles and beer, and is one of the most entertaining events to happen not just in Fort Collins but throughout Colorado. The event always starts with the bicycle parade throughout the city, and riders of all ages are welcome to take part with their costumes and decorated cycles. When you're part of Tour De Fat, you are also helping out a great cause as the event supports local bike non-profits to raise money for bike advocacy, education, and trails. There hasn't been an official word on the 2021 event, but check their website (and we'll update you on the Old Town Food Tour website) to find out when it's happening and how you can be part of it!
Are you a runner and looking to wrap up the summer season with a 10K at CSU's Canvas Stadium? The FORTitude 10K is one of the top running events in all of Colorado, and according to their event Facebook page, it will be happening on Monday, September 6 (Labor Day) in 2021.
